As a Weekend Reference Librarian at the Lewisboro Library, I provide welcoming, technology-forward service in a public library committed to being the heart of its community. I support patrons through reference and reader’s advisory services, while also offering hands-on guidance with public computers, digital platforms, and online resources through individualized and small-group instruction. My role includes contributing to adult collection development and cataloging (Evergreen ILS), assisting with library programming, and helping expand access to digital content services. I work collaboratively with library staff while maintaining strong independent initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

As Supervisor, Library Curriculum Support Services at Princeton University, I’ll be leading a dedicated team supporting course reserves and video reserves for Firestone Library and collaborating with colleagues across branch locations. I’m responsible for overseeing key services that support Princeton’s academic curriculum—managing staff, refining workflows, ensuring compliance with copyright policies, and providing personalized support to faculty and students.I will help enhance access to teaching materials, strengthen cross-departmental collaboration, and continue to build inclusive, efficient, and innovative support services. I’m also eager to contribute to the library’s broader mission through participation in professional development, working groups, and service improvement initiatives.

As the Head of Circulation Services at Purchase College, I oversee all circulation functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and handling emergencies. I manage the work schedules for both student and professional staff, ensuring coverage during all operational hours. I supervise and evaluate a team of 3-5 professional staff and 15-20 student assistants, including hiring, training, and payroll management. I handle billing for library fines and resolve patron disputes, oversee statistical analysis for service improvements, and staff the circulation desk for 10-15 hours weekly. Additionally, I manage course reserves, update the library website, and participate in strategic planning and interdepartmental collaboration to support library.
Columbia University | Access Services Coordinator (05.22.23 - 06.15.24)
As the Access Services Coordinator in Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library, I provide oversight and coverage for all daily operations of the Access Services department, including, but not limited to all circulation processes, all delivery services functions, reserve processing, facilities management, stack and collection maintenance projects, and the supervision of 20+ student general assistants per semester. I also provide routine oversight of the Drawings and Archives reading room at scheduled times, and help patrons handle archival materials.

As a Library Assistant V in the Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences libraries, I worked to upkeep all daily operations in the libraries. I often monitored the entrances and assisted patrons who had problems with library security equipment. When necessary, I provided additional assistance to patrons with disabilities, performed opening and closing routines and handled circulation transactions. When it came to directional, informational and front line reference questions from patrons I answered them and referred patrons to supervisory or professional staff otherwise. Furthermore, I processed reserve items, items from the offsite facility and incoming mail. Often, I performed regular shelving and stack maintenance, and when needed assigned, revised and supervised student assistants in related tasks.
